A Message From PACT JC
Founder K. Octavian Young
People of All Colors Together Jersey City is a destination that spans several decades and was inspired by my volunteerism and unwavering commitment to being part of something larger and giving voice to historically underserved and underrepresented demographics within and outside the LGBTQ+ community.
Having been blessed to volunteer and be paid to work in several organizations over a span of more than three decades in administrative, managerial and governance roles, I honed my efficacy in awareness and advocacy for our individual and collective narratives to be seen and heard across administrations, timelines, trends, and movements.
My primary role as the Founder of PACT JC is to serve as a catalyst to raise awareness, inspire, and empower our community, friends, allies, and supporters. Collectively we have the ability to facilitate change and be the difference we wish to see locally and beyond. I firmly believe that if we can imagine it, we can create and build upon it.
Consider PACT JC an expanding canvas with space to accommodate vibrancy as well as nuances. From the gentlest of whispers to the roars of advocacy, there is a space in PACT JC for you to share your journey, talents, and interests.

People of All Colors Together Jersey City (PACT JC) was formed in 2025 to provide an inclusive, welcoming space for members of Jersey City’s LGBTQ+ community, friends, allies, and supporters to socialize, share their experiences, explore ways to make a local and national difference, and hopefully inspire others to take part in a group where, historically, they may not have seen themselves represented or resonated with.

People of All Colors Together Jersey City (PACT JC) mission is to provide an inclusive, diverse, and welcoming environment, where participants are encouraged to gather and share their interests and talents, and have opportunities to take part in recreational, informative, and humanitarian activities.

People Of All Colors Together Jersey City (PACT JC) appreciates and celebrates the diversity of our LGBTQ+ community and the support of our friends and allies. Collectively, our presence, participation and sharing of our time and talents make an impact that affects us personally and collaboratively.
