A Spring/Summer Message From PACT JC

As Jersey City seems to still be distancing itself from the record frigid temperatures of previous months, the warmer weather is increasingly establishing itself as standard presence instead of an occasional visitor. With warmer weather, people are venturing outdoors more and socializing reaches a long-awaited apex.
Throughout the past several months, I have met with many of you whether in person or remotely to discuss your thoughts and perspectives regarding People of All Colors Together Jersey City. Based on your thoughtful feedback, PACT JC in addition to having exclusively sponsored PACT JC activities, moving forward PACT JC will also collaborate with other organizations, specifically Jersey City Pride. Stay tuned for our future PACT JC Meet & Greets in June & August, and themed dances. This year PACT JC will once again have a table at JC Pride and for the first time, have a PACT JC contingent marching.
Looking ahead, 2027 will be a pivotal year for PACT JC. Next year PACT JC will finalize its journey of becoming an LLC or non-profit organization. 2027 is also on track be the first year PACT JC marches in the NYC Pride March!
My primary role as the Founder of PACT JC continues to be to serve as a catalyst to raise awareness, inspire, and empower our community, friends, allies, and supporters. I remain convinced that we have the ability to facilitate change and be the difference we wish to see locally and beyond. More than ever, I affirm that if we can imagine it, we can create and build upon it.

PACT JC endeavors to be Jersey City’s collective canvas with space to accommodate vibrancy as well as nuances. From the gentlest of whispers to the roars of advocacy, there is a space in PACT JC for you to share your journey, talents, and interests. Please join us as we embark on our next chapter!
