Evening Admin Assistant Needed For 2-Hour Gig
(Downtown Jersey City)
Date: Sunday, August 16th, 2026 | 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
$30/Hour
Administrative Assistant needed for Sunday, August 16, 2026, 6 pm - 8 pm. Listed below are the responsibilities for this 2-hour gig that pays $30 an hour and includes a free buffet.

Check-in (Check names on guest list and place wrist bands on guests)

Assist with light set up and light clean up

Monitor information table throughout event

Assist with free raffle prize ticket distribution during event and presentation to raffle prize winner at 7:50 p.m.
Selected candidate must be at least 21 years of age as alcohol will be served. Candidate must also be responsible, engaging, professional and neatly dressed.
Please provide a recent photo. This assignment is in Jersey City, New Jersey. When applying ,please ensure you have reliable transportation and plan accordingly to arrive in downtown Jersey City no later than 5:45 p.m. on 8.16.26.
Paid Volunteers Needed For Staffing Pride Booth
Date: Saturday, August 22nd, 2026
$20/HR + $10 Meal Stipend
Paid volunteers needed to staff People of All Colors Together (PACT JC) information booth at the 2026 Jersey City Pride Festival (Saturday, August 22). Each shift will be two hours in length. The pay is $20 per hour and a $10 meal stipend upon completion of your two-hour shift. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of your shift.
Available Shifts:

Selected volunteers will be provided with an overview of the PACT JC at least two weeks prior to Saturday, August 22, 2026. Volunteers are required to reasonably familiarize themselves with PACT JC’s website and mission.
Throughout your shift you will be paired with the Founder and or Documentarian of PACT JC.
Shift Responsibilities:

Ensure the PACT JC information table remains stocked with literature and memorabilia

Greet visitors, distribute business cards/promotional literature/memorabilia
-
Encouraging visitors to sign attendance sheet/access QR Codes/participate in wheel spin

Assist in operating wheel spin as needed

Assist in distributing gifts for prize wheel winners
Requirements:

Applicant must be at least 18 years of age

Verifiable customer service/related experience

Above average - exemplary interpersonal skills

Paid Volunteer Administrative Assistant Needed For Staffing Pride Booth

$150 + $20 Meal Stipend
Paid volunteer Administrative Assistant (Admin Asst.) needed to assist in supervising People of All Colors Together (PACT JC) volunteers staffing the PACT JC’s information booth at the 2026 Jersey City Pride Festival (Saturday, August 22). The Admin Assist position begins at 11:30 am and ends at 5:30 pm. This 6-hour shift is flexible provided that the PACT JC Founder or Documentarian are in the immediate vicinity. This position includes a $20 meal stipend. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of your shift. Payment of $170 ($150 payment for 6-hour shift + 20 meal stipend) will be in cash and distributed at the end of the 6-hour shift.
The candidate selected for this Admin Asst. will be provided with a substantive overview of the PACT JC at least two weeks prior to Saturday, August 22, 2026 as well as a comprehensive Run of Show (ROS) to assist you in supervising the paid volunteers staffing the PACT information table.
Throughout your shift the PACT Founder and or Documentarian will be at the table or in proximity except the brief period at the beginning of the afternoon (TBD) when the Founder and Documentarian will be marching with PACT JC volunteers beginning at City Hall and ending near the soundstage on Newark Avenue.

Volunteer Marcher Opportunities For
Jersey City Pride Festival Contingent

People of All Colors Together Jersey City (PACT JC) has a contingent marching on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at the Jersey City Pride Festival.
There are opportunities to hold the PACT JC Pride Banner as well as play instruments (tambourines, wood rhythm sticks, wrist bells, egg shakers, maracas, and whistles will be provided)

Please plan to arrive at Jersey City City Hall (280 Grove Street) by 11:45 p.m. Weather and traffic are major variables, so please dress accordingly and plan ahead to navigate transit delays. Public transportation is highly recommended as parking will be extremely limited.
